The FAEMA Granditalia X2 is a small-footprint superautomatic espesso and cappuccino machine, equipped with the patented "Smart Boiler" technology, which significantly the boosts steam and hot water capacity (at a given power level) by about 30%. The FAEMA X2 Granditalia is a more robust version of the FAEMA X1 Granditalia, and is specially built for high-volume operation.
While the FAEMA X1 and the FAEMA X2 Granditalias can both make up to 200 drinks per hour, the FAEMA X1 Granditalia is only designed for volumes of 150 drinks per day or less. The FAEMA X2 Granditalia is designed for volumes of 300 drinks per day or more. While either machine can be driven harder than this (specifically, at up to 200 drinks per hour); driving them harder simply means that the maintenance cycle (replacement of gaskets and other components) has to be more frequent. But if you know that your volumes are high, you should get the FAEMA X2 Granditalia.
The FAEMA X2 Granditalia is a 2-step machine, which requires the operator to froth or steam milk in a second step. However the FAEMA patented "AutoSteam" system will froth (or steam - it's up to you) the milk automatically at the push of a button. The FAEMA AutoSteam system uses a frothing wand, but has thermal and pressure sensors in the tip of the wand, and can automatically inject the right amount of air into the milk to ensure a microfoam that is even and consistent in density and temperature. There is no chance for error.
The FAEMA Autosteam feature comes standard with the FAEMA X2 Granditalia superautomatic espresso machine.
