Which Espresso Machine is Right for My Office?

The type of espresso machine you choose for your office will depend on your size or how many espresso drinks are going to be made on a regular basis. If your office or business runs 5-7 days a week with a number of untrained people using the espresso machine you would likely want a different style than a smaller office or are an organization that will only use the machine once a week or so. When the espresso machine isn’t meant for food service purposes it’s likely that a smaller machine for home use will work for you office. This can save time and money when it comes to installation.

Social Organizations

If your church or organization would like to serve espresso drinks but doesn’t need it to run full time, semi automatic espresso machines and fully automatic espresso machines would probably serve you well. These types of machines are considerably less expensive than the super and ultra automatic varieties, although they do require a bit more labor to operate them. The grinding of the beans will need to be done separately and someone will need to pack the filters to extract the espresso as well as steam the milk. When you have just one or two people acting as servers they can learn to accomplish this fairly quickly and easily.

Smaller Offices

A small office with just a few employees won’t need a machine with the same capacity as a larger one. It’s possible that a pod espresso machine would work quite well for a very low volume use, especially if the people who will be operating it don’t have the time to mess around with grinding beans and the like. Another good option that is a bit less expensive when it comes to purchasing the coffee is automatic machines. With fewer people operating the machine it’s more likely that everyone in the office will soon become specialists in creating their favorite espresso drinks!

Larger Offices and Spas

If you have a medium sized office or spa, your best bet will likely by the super automatic espresso machine or even the ultra automatic. When you have a number of different untrained people using the machine, it’s probably going to be easier for all involved to have the functions of creating an espresso drink be fully automated. This means that the machine will grind and pack the coffee, extract the espresso, and dump the grounds at the touch of a button. With Ultra Automatic machines it will even steam or froth the milk as well, so there is very little room for human error in the process.
