Gaggia's Vision espresso and cappuccino machine is one of four new machines in the stunning Platinum series. With an easy to read black and white digital touch screen display, a sleek attractive stainless steel front panel, and an included Gaggia milk island for automatic froth, you will truly wonder how you ever lived without it!

This machine has all the features you'd expect in a super automatic espresso machine, plus the convenience of automatic milk frothing. From the E. Plus beverage strength system, water temperature control, adjustable coffee dosing, electronic cup lift, bypass doser - the features go on and on. Making coffee and espresso at the push of a button just makes life easier. This machine makes perfect golden crema espresso and can be programmed to the taste of the indivudual user.

E. Plus Beverage Strength System

This knob allows the user to adjust the strenth of coffee/espresso for each cup. A turn all the way to the left makes a weaker coffee while a turn all the way to the right makes a very strong coffee/espresso. Leave the knob in the middle for a regular strenth coffee.

Digital Touch Screen Display

This display can be customized so that you see either words or icons. The contrast can also be adjusted to very light or very dark. In addition, you can chose a small, medium or large coffee here. Other programming functions include setting the clock, choosing steam or hot water, choosing one of eight languages, setting the water temperature for your coffee, viewing the number of drinks made and the list goes on and on.

Rapid Steam Boiler

The rapid steam stainless steel lined boiler assures the user that you will not have to wait between brewing espresso and steaming milk.

Adjustable Temperature and Opti-Dose System

You can adjust the temperature of the water for each cup of coffee and espresso you make. In addition, the opti-dose features lets the user adjust the amount of ground coffee used from 7 grams for a lighter espresso to 10.5 grams for a stronger espresso.

Active Cup Warmer

Keep your espresso cups nice and toasty on the top of your Vision with the active cup warmer. This feature can be turned on, off, or be put in standby mode (which means it will be on when the machine is on and off when the machine goes into standby). Holds about 4 espresso cups.

Electronic Cup Lift

This feature will move the drip tray up or down to accommodate different size cups. A nice feature especially is you have very large mugs for coffee.

Bypass Doser

This indispensible feature is a must-have! It's perfect for the nights when you don't want the caffeine to keep you up and when you don't feel like emptying the bean hopper. Or if you have guests that want a decaf, use the top-loading bypass doser instead. For ground coffee only.

Ceramic Burr Grinder

A quiet built-in ceramic burr grinder with multiple settings ensures you will have the freshest best tasting espresso again and again.

Pannarello Frothing Wand & Milk Island (included)

Use the pannarello frothing wand if you feel like making your own froth for cappuccinos and lattes (which literally takes about 30-45 seconds) or use the included Gaggia milk island which connects to the steam system. Simply pour milk into the container, turn the steam knob and the machine will froth and steam your milk for creamy cappuccinos and lattes. The remaining milk and container can be stored in the fridge for later use. The milk island has a locking top and en easy pour spout.

Pre-infusion Brew System Cycle

Pre-infusion allows you to get maximum flavor from the brewing process. This advanced system takes the newly ground coffee beans from the internal coffee grinder and correctly tamps the coffee. Next comes "pre-infusion". The grounds are gently pre-soaked and then brewed before being discarded automatically into the internal dump box. The machine then resets itself for the next brewing cycle.

Hot Water Dispenser

The steam nozzle can be used for either steam for frothing milk or hot water for hot chocolates, teas and even soups! Choose either the steam function or hot water function from the touch screen display.
